To date – it opened on December 16th – more than 30 thousand visitors have passed through the mega nativity scene at Curral das Freiras, of which more than 26 thousand are paying (1 euro per entry).

The president of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, visits the Curral das Freiras nativity scene this morning, located in the covered parking lot of the Civic Center of that parish. The event is now in its 20th edition and is an initiative of Associação Refúgio da Freira.
