The Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation (IFCN) informs that, due to forestry work involving the opening of “pits and plantations” in the areas adjacent to the PR3 Vereda do Burro pedestrian route, the section between Poço da Neve and Pico do Areeiro will be temporarily closed from next Monday, February 5th.
In a note posted on social media, the IFCN states that this closure is due to the “potential risk of projecting materials onto the pedestrian route”.
The section will be closed until a date to be announced.
