CMF ‘planted’ 1,100 pansies in Rotunda do Infante

The Funchal City Council, through the Department of Green Spaces and Climate Action / Division of Gardens and Urban Green Spaces (DJEVU), replaced the Christmas  Poinsettia with pansies in Rotunda do Infante today.

There are around 1,100 pansies (Viola wittrockiana), of different colors, which will provide the general population with a new beautification of that space, which has been the target of different varieties of plants throughout the year, explains the municipality in a press release.

In parallel with the decoration of the Rotunda do Infante, the usual floral pyramids with around 650 pansies were also placed in Praça do Município, in front of the CMF building.
