“No one can be condemned and lynched in the public square”, reinforces Albuquerque

Albuquerque reaffirms that he is “available” to respond to judicial authorities.

On the sidelines of the PSD-Madeira Regional Council, Miguel Albuquerque once again made it clear that he will lose his parliamentary immunity when he ceases to be president of the Regional Government and that, therefore, from that moment on he is “available” to respond in the process in which is investigated.

“I have no problem with that and I’m not going to run anywhere”, he stressed, adding that the fact of being heard by the judicial authorities, as part of the investigation into corruption in Madeira, does not give rise to the possibility of “being burned in the public square”.
