This Wednesday, March 21st, in the morning, between 9:30 am and 10:30 am, the Association of Young Madeirans Connected (AJMC) organizes a clean-up of Praia Formosa.
The initiative aims to not only clean the beach, but also maintain it and raise awareness among the local community and visitors about the importance of conserving the environment.
Participating in the initiative will be the regional director of Youth, Carlos André Camacho Alves, “whose support and presence underline the importance of the initiative and the commitment to the environmental cause”, says a statement sent. Furthermore, representatives from the Regional Directorate for the Environment and Climate Action will be present, reinforcing the union of efforts towards a more sustainable future.
“We believe that your coverage of the event will not only highlight the positive actions being taken in our region, but also inspire more people to take part in similar initiatives, thus promoting a positive change in our collective behavior towards the environment”.
