Miguel Albuquerque sees no problem with Francisco Jardim Ramos, former regional secretary of Health and secretary of the PSD/Madeira board, having publicly expressed his support for Manuel António Correia’s candidacy for president of PSD-Madeira.
“There is no problem. We live in a free party and everyone can express their support. What matters is that each member votes”, he reacted this afternoon, on the sidelines of the inauguration in the Municipality of Calheta.
“Quite confident” that he will win the internal duel, the president and re-candidate for the leadership of the PSD-M remembers that the most important thing is “on Thursday when the results are determined, then we will see”, he stated.
When asked whether this support could reflect a desire for change, he was peremptory: “It doesn’t reflect anything. It is the position of a militant like any other. It’s respectable but it doesn’t reflect anything.”
