Daughter of missing tourists has returned to France

The daughter of Véronique and Laurent Blond, the tourist couple who disappeared in São Vicente on March 16th, has already returned to her residence, Beaumont-de-Lomagne, in France.

Speaking to French television (TF1), Johanna said that she wants to find her parents, “dead or alive”, as she admits that she needs to know what happened to them in order to move forward.

In the interview, the young woman explained that her parents left the house at around 2:30 pm, with two bottles of water and some money. They were tired from walking in the previous days and were supposed to go for a quick walk, but they never answered their cell phone or returned home.

It was also reported that an investigation was opened by the Montauban public prosecutor, Bruno Sauvage, into this disappearance, a situation that is leaving the neighborhood perplexed. Especially because in France they are seen as “smiling and appreciated traders”.

As DIÁRIO reported, last Sunday the French police seized cell phones and computers in the searches carried out at the residence of the missing couple, as well as the bakery, in France. However, according to the newspaper La Depeche, nothing suspicious was detected or that could suggest that the couple intended to end their lives.

Searches for the couple were suspended yesterday due to bad weather.
