IPMA extends orange warning due to maritime unrest in Madeira and Porto Santo

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) once again extended the orange warning for maritime unrest on the North coast of Madeira and Porto Santo.

The warning is in force between 3pm on March 28th, tomorrow, and midnight on March 30th, Saturday.

Northwest waves of 5 to 6 meters are expected, with a maximum height of 10 meters.

The IPMA predicts, for Madeira, during Easter week, rain, wind and strong sea agitation, due to the influence of the ‘Nelson’ depression, named by AEMET.

Take care not to go close to the ocean over these days, your life is more important, than that photo no one will see.
