AIDAstella anticipated its stopover and recently arrived at the Port of Funchal, where it will spend the night and complete a 29-hour stopover.

The ship had a dock reservation for tomorrow, but weather and sea conditions led the captain to bring forward the call in Madeira. Coming from La Palma, on board, it has 2,461 passengers and 646 crew members.

It is scheduled to leave at 5pm tomorrow, heading to Lisbon, where this 9-night cruise ends, starting in Tenerife, with stops in Fuerteventura, La Gomera, Gran Canaria, again, La Gomera, La Palma, now, Funchal and then Lisbon, where he arrives next Saturday.

This is AIDAstella’s last trip to Madeira this season. The ship will now position itself in Palma de Mallorca.

The Marella Explorer continues to be in port, which also brought forward its call at the Port of Funchal to yesterday. The ship leaves at 6pm, heading to La Palma.
