The French tourist couple who have been missing since yesterday afternoon were last seen at 3:45 pm, on Avenida Marcos Marques Rosa, in the site of Calhau, in São Vicente, walking towards Porto Moniz.
According to the Public Security Police, who are involved in the search, the man is 58 years old and the woman is 56 years old.
The tourist, who is 1.80m tall, was wearing a gray jacket and loose blue tracksuit trousers and the woman, who is 1.69m tall, was wearing a blue sports coat and carrying a pink backpack. .
The Madeira Regional Command of the Public Security Police requests the collaboration of the population, so that, if there is any sighting and/or relevant information, the Porto Moniz PSP Police Station can be contacted, via telephone number 291 853 361.
