‘Bird strike’ causes flames on plane in Madeira

A Condor plane, which was preparing to travel this afternoon, at Madeira International Airport, suffered a ‘Bird Strike’ [collision with an aircraft], causing one of its engines to catch fire.

Despite the incident, the A321 airbus that made the connection from Madeira to Leipzig, in Germany, continued its journey, lasting more than four hours, without any major problems, as shown in the images captured by ‘Madeira Aviation Spotting’.
