The 2024 edition of the Flower Festival, with an investment of 950 thousand euros, will take place from the 2nd to the 26th of May.
The Autonomous Region of Madeira presents itself for the 2024 edition of the Flower Festival with a hotel occupancy of around 95%. The numbers were highlighted this afternoon by the regional secretary of Tourism and Culture, Eduardo Jesus, in the presentation of the event that will take place between the 2nd and 26th of May, as DIÁRIO had already reported.

The highlight of this event is the float procession that takes place on May 5th, on Avenida do Mar, with a total of 14 groups and 1,800 extras. Since 2019 there have not been so many groups.
But, in addition to this, the entertainment will reach the entire downtown area of Funchal, with floral carpets, a flower and product market, or with around 700 children who once again make their contribution to the famous Wall of Hope , on May 4th. Largo da Restauração will also host another edition of the Festa da Flor Exhibition. From the 24th to the 26th of May there is another highlight of this celebration which is the Madeira Classic Car Revival, in Praça do Povo.
The government official wanted to highlight the more than 3 thousand people who will be involved in this regional tourist event.
