A video showing around a dozen motorbikes traveling part of a route along Caminho Real 24, in Fajã do Cedro Gordo, in São Roque do Faial, Santana, arrived at Jornal Madeira in recent days.
The situation has merited censure from several residents in the area, who reported that this part of the route has been used more or less recurrently, by “groups of 20 or 30” motorcyclists in some cases.
In addition to mentioning the danger for people who may travel on foot, they also highlight that the passage of these motorbikes has caused great wear and tear on the road surface of the section, with several stones already being raised.
One of these residents even assured that he had already called the police to report the situation to the police, but without any effect so far.
