New project to renovate the Ribeira Brava seafront was presented during a visit to the company Bravaplan.
“In the future, as we have already announced, the idea is to create a direct connection between this promenade, between Tabua and the centre of Ponta do Sol”, reiterated Miguel Albuquerque today, announcing that the project for this third phase of the Ribeira Brava seafront redevelopment project “will now begin to be drawn up”.
For now, the cycle path between Tabua and the city centre will continue, extending to the Ribeira Brava pier.
The project had already been presented, but the version shown today to the President of the Government, during a visit to the company Bravaplan, incorporates the changes proposed by the local authority.
“This work should have already started, but due to the situation where we are without a budget, we will have to launch it again”, pointed out the President of the Government.
This is, as he indicated, an investment in the order of “13 million euros”.
