After visiting the fire-fighting command center in Curral das Freiras, the president of the Regional Government of Madeira went to Serra de Água and was received with protests from the population present.

He was greeted with cries of protest from the population, but he continues to closely monitor the situation in the parish.
Meanwhile, people gather to watch the flames evolve, and around 80 people have already been relocated to the center of the municipality of Ribeira Brava.
