The Ribeira Brava fire begins to spread to the municipality of Câmara de Lobos.
From Jardim da Serra, photographs arrived at Jornal Madeira, indicating that the fire was close to the Corrida site.
According to the same source, the smell of smoke is intense and the population said that there were flames near the Forest Police house.
Marco Lobato, regional operational commander of Civil Protection, confirmed that the fire had already spread to the higher areas of Câmara de Lobos.
