The Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters were called out this morning to help a young man aged around 20 who fell into the Ribeira das Cales while canyoning.
The alert indicates that the victim fell into a stream, and the corporation went to the scene with its rescue team, with nine members and an ambulance.
