    I agree, completely first the council parties and then the private parties, the constant fireworks that they haven’t yet learned should not be done when it’s hot. The last time I was in Madeira, a party was held by the council and they were setting off fireworks with the forest in the distance on the hottest day when it was forbidden to do so.

  3. I remember going to a council party in Faial in the 80s and someone got hit in the head by a cane from a firework. There was blood everywhere.
