A swimmer reportedly drowned this morning in the area of the Ponta do Sol pier.
Information regarding the victim’s condition is currently scarce, but an ambulance from the Ribeira Brava Volunteer Fire Department, the Maritime Police, and a SANAS vessel are at the scene.
