The new deposit and refund system for beverage packaging, under the brand “Volta”, is now operational.
From now on, consumers will pay an extra 10 cents when buying plastic bottles or cans, an amount that is refunded after the packaging is returned to one of the 19 collection points available in supermarkets in the region.
