Must have been a hell of a fright.
As reported by JM, a large landslide struck a vehicle carrying six tourists late this afternoon. Three of the occupants were injured and taken to the São Vicente Emergency Department.
The three injured are two women, aged 64 and 33, and a man, aged 27.
The vehicle was badly damaged, as shown in the image accompanying this piece.
Road traffic in Silveira, in Boaventura, near the Duarte Pacheco tunnel, remains prohibited, as clearing work is currently underway.
