A fire broke out a moment ago in a bush area, close to residences, in the Galeão area, in São Roque, Funchal.
Fighting the flames are Funchal Sapadores Firefighters and the Madeira Volunteer Firefighters ECIR team.
The Caminho do Galeão is closed to traffic.
