This morning traffic was once again chaotic in the Queimadas Forest Park area, in Santana.
According to a local, at 11:50 am “nobody was controlling the descents or the ascents”, with traffic practically coming to a standstill.
The same source calls for more monitoring on this road, as he warns that “if there is an emergency, neither an ambulance nor a fire engine can get there.”
He also said that there were people who took more than 30 minutes to get out of there.
