A foreign woman, aged around 60, was left in serious condition following a diving accident that occurred this Tuesday afternoon in the Galo beach area, in Caniço.
From what was possible to determine, the woman had lost consciousness when she was at a depth of around 20 meters.
The Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters and the Rapid Intervention Medical Team (EMIR) were mobilized to the site.
