A car ended up in the sea at Praia Formosa.
The vehicle is believed to have rolled down one of the access ramps to the sea, on the eastern side of Praia Formosa beach.
The causes of the accident are unknown, but the BMW vehicle was badly damaged.
The vehicle was eventually recovered by a towing company in the region.
