Ryanair Lisbon has duverted to Porto Santo, and Jet2 Edinburgh is on its way to Lanzarote, these islands are also experiencing strong winds and heavy rain.
Easyjet Lisbon is also waiting for the opportunity to land. There is an Orange alert for strong winds from 3pm till midnight, so it could be a difficult afternoon and evening.
