The German man in his 70s who recently fell from a height of five meters onto the rocks in Reis Magos, Caniço, was walking along a path when he slipped.
He was suspected of having a fractured arm and complaining of lower back pain.
He was rescued by the Madeira Volunteer Firefighters and transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital by the Santa Cruz Firefighters.
