The president of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, announced a moment ago at a press conference at Quinta Vigia that citizens and companies from Madeira will be exempt from paying electricity and water consumption between 16 and 31 March.
This is a measure of support to citizens and businesses, as a way to mitigate the economic impact of the coronavirus.
