  1. Where are you getting this information from? We’ve been told to turn up for ez9138 and that its leaving at 18.30. That’s on our boarding pass.

  2. These flights are not on the easyJet web page so cannot book. Our Jet2 flights have been cancelled and we have no way of returning home.

  3. Go to your original flight confirmation email. The email you recieved when you first booked the flight weeks or months ago. Scroll down and there are 3 links —add seats – add more item- change flight. Click on change flight.

    I have book on to my flight back to Manchester.

Since just after 9pm when I first learned anything about repatriation flights being scheduled, this is what I have been doing (and apparently many others without success), going to “Change Flight”, under “Choose new flight details” try to select either March 19th or March 18th and it goes to a page that says this:

      “No flights available

      Unfortunately, no seats are available for the route and dates selected. This may be for a number of reasons:

      You have selected a date of travel outside the range currently available on our system. Our flying programme is loaded seasonally, twice a year. To ensure you know when new flights become available, register for eOffers.

      All flights on the selected dates are fully booked. If possible, try alternative dates. In some cases, seats subsequently become available on fully booked flights when passengers transfer to another service, and you may wish to try again later.

      The selected route does not operate on the dates selected. For details of existing and new routes, please visit our destination, timetable, or news sections.”

      Mandy: so you were able to successfully change your flight this evening this way?

  4. I have been in contact with the tourist board this evening and also the British Consulate. The tourist board replied just before midnight and has told me that they are in direct contact with Easy Jet and will come back to me in the morning as I have already relayed that a lot of people are having problems booking their return flights through the App and the site. I will of course relay any information I have to Tobi and onto Madeira Active. Please don’t worry guys as between us we are trying to help you resolve these issues.

    My mum and dad are on Madeira alongside many of people trying to get home despite cancelled flights etc (we had changed the flights and then ‘they’ got cancelled too!)

    Tonight checking Madeiraislandnews.com again (I jumped out of bed @1am rang my parents and following Mandy’s explanation I’ve managed to get them on a flight back to Manchester. I’m so relieved.

    Tobi without your post and the uploaded easy jet schedule I would never have known. Thank you.

    Mr Dolomite – yes I booked them on new flights tonight Wed night @1am – I got them on Manchester but I could also have got Gatwick tomorrow or Friday – following Mandy’s instruction. Thank you v much, x

    1. That’s great, I hope they get home safe, I still think easyjet have made this very difficult for people, and someone should take it to the UK press.

  7. What about British Airways? We are now booked to fly back on Monday 23rd and the BA app says it is still happening.

I’m not sure if I’ve managed to rebook…. as others have commented… new flights not showing up on App … when I have selected today’s date… it informs me that I have selected today as my departure date. It is my responsibility to ensure I go to the airport in time for check in … then select Cancel or Continue … when you select continue it says as Mr Dolomite commented earlier …?
    Again on checking EasyJet app… still no flights listed for today or tomorrow… it states on EasyJet site about repatriation flights that customers will be notified of changes by Message and email… as yet they have made no contact ..!

  9. We rebooked by going into easyJet My Account, and where the flight home shows cancelled, clicking on Manage Disruption. You could then move right until a flight showed up – the earliest was early April until yesterday, but more have now appeared. The new flight will say you can change with no fee. Click on it, then you will be asked about seats and check in. The best of luck everyone.

  11. Hi all. Our original flights (18th March) were cancelled and when that happened we switched to the 2nd April (next available flight at the time). We, like many others, aren’t offered alternative dates back to Bristol via the app or website and I wonder whether the common denominator is that those that already rescheduled their flight once already aren’t being allowed to do so again?

  13. Mandy, Karen, Brian or anyone else that was successfully re-booked on one of these repatriation flights. I’m trying to figure out the issue and have a few questions. When was your original flight scheduled? When did you first go online to manage your current flight? Did you all receive an email from EasyJet about repatriation flights?

    Everyone else that have not been successful, same questions.

    We first received an email on Monday that our flight on the 18th was cancelled. In that email there was no mention about repatriation flights, but EasyJet had been saying they were committed to make repatriation flights the days leading up so that their customers could get back home. The email discouraged us from calling customer service (but we still tried anyway and could not get through), while saying the easiest and fastest way to re-schedule was to manage your booking online which we did at the same time. Once we were online we discovered at that point that no only was our flight on the 18th cancelled, all flights until April 1st were cancelled. That would mean we would miss all our other flights back home! That also meant that any of their customers on the island were also stranded on the island until at least April 1st, regardless of their initial travel plans. Because we could not afford to be stranded on the island or in Europe further into April, we selected the first available flight off the island figuring we would eventually find out if EasyJet would in fact make repatriation flights and we could then get off the island sooner. We received another email from EasyJet on Wednesday again saying our flight on that day was cancelled and we could re-schedule online and contact them for help with accommodations for the night (too late we already had to check-out of our first place and secure another place to stay). Anyway, we still have not received any message from EasyJet about repatriation flights. We only learned about the island government’s form for stranded tourist on here Wednesday morning which we filled out. And first heard about the repatriation flights on here and soon after received a message from the island director of tourism (with whom I have replied with and has been super helpful).

    In short, I am guessing anyone that had re-scheduled their flight earlier are not being shown these repatriation flights and those that had not made any changes are seeing these flights online.

  14. Yup, we still can’t see those flights available or get through to easyjet.

    When the flight was originally cancelled we selected the next available flight which was 2nd april. I imagine that’s why we can’t see the new flights?! Obviously we want to get home as soon as possible though.

  15. Go way back to your original email when you booked the flight for your holiday. Months ago.
    Follow my previous instruction to click on to …change flight link.
    (There are no links on any recent emails or manage my bookings to the repatriation flights.)

    1. Mandy, please stop posting this. Even though you may think it is helping, it is not helpful at all!

      We are all very competent people, we know how to both manage our reservations online and check our original email and we have tried what you also mentioned (which is simply just a link to the EasyJet website’s “My Bookings” section, not some magical link you discovered). The repatriation flights do not show up for us!

  16. For everyone else that were not able to book a repatriation flight through EasyJet’s website or app. Have you been in touch with Dorita Mendonca, the regional director of tourism? She is in direct contact with EasyJet and was able to get us on a flight tomorrow night.
