It’s that time of year again where the clock in your car becomes right again, and I think most of us are happy to lose and hour this time.

Just a reminder clocks go forward 1 hour at 1am Sunday morning.

Bring on the summer….

  3. Hahaha – still laughing at the concept of missing my living room time slot. And as well as cars, there’s also the clocks on some of our cookers. Mine is so far out as to be ridiculous, I think because of power cuts. Or perhaps our kitchen is in a warped part of a multiverse domain spanning pan-dimensional time-stretch?

  4. On sunday morning, I know I am going to think ‘F*ck the clock’! Don’t need to be anywhere, not in the next weeks, so I can gradually get used to the obnoxious clock telling me the wroing time. Stay healthy, all of you.

  6. Last time they moves the clocks forward I had to buy a new clock. The old one fell off the shelf

  7. I think this is supposed to be the final year that clocks change. I read somewhere that within the eu each member state should decide which time they will be on e.g. gmt as in UK, Portugal, Ireland, Madeira & Canaries or on Berlin time. Then no twice annual changes from then.

    Not sure if the UK is following the eu plan or sticking with the gmt/bst system.

    1. Spain used to be on the same time us the UK and Portugal but Franco switched to Berlin time during WW2 to show solidarity with Nazi Germany(not sure if Hitler appreciated the gesture). Not sure whether mainland Portugal will opt to switch to Berlin time or stay on the same time as the UK.
