This Thursday there were two new cases of coronavirus in Madeira. This is a couple in their 40s living in Machico but coming from the North Region. They were detected in tests performed at Madeira Airport.
There are still two other suspected cases that are under study.
There are currently 31 active cases, 30 imported and one for local transmission.
