According to the sector union, the hotel unit went ahead with a collective dismissal process, which covers 63 workers.
The Hospitality Union has already scheduled a meeting with the workers concerned and with the legal adviser, to assess the legality of the situation and understand the rationale for the decision.
This is something we will start seeing a lot more of now, I was told by a back manager some months back, that it will be September – October, when we really start seeing lots of people lose their jobs and businesses close down. ?
