Today, there are 48 new positive cases to report, so RAM now counts 1429 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the regional territory. These are 12 imported cases (5 from the Northern Region of Portugal, 1 from the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region, 3 from the United Kingdom and 3 from Spain) and 36 cases of local transmission, most of which are already associated with contacts or positive case contexts previously identified.
Epidemiological investigations are still ongoing, as the report by the Regional Health Directorate says.
