ESTABLISHMENTS CLOSED UNTIL NOW WILL REMAIN SO UNTIL EARLY JANUARY

The measures taken so far to prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus continue until the beginning of January.

Miguel Albuquerque agrees with the prolonged state of emergency at national level and, in Madeira, establishments such as nightclubs will continue to be closed. The current trade and catering times are maintained.

The minister hopes that it will not be necessary to create more restrictive measures this Christmas season, in which students and emigrants return, in addition to the increase in tourists closer to Christmas.

“I think Christmas and the end of the year will be good”, within the current pandemic context, he concluded.
