ALBUQUERQUE POSTPONES VISIT TO THE SITE WHERE THE SUBMARINE CABLE WILL BE DEPLOYED DUE TO WEATHER FORECASTS

Due to the atmospheric forecasts for tomorrow, with worsening of the state of the sea, the visit of the President of the Regional Government to the place where the submarine telecommunications cable will be deployed has been postponed to a date yet to be announced.

It is recalled that, as reported this morning by the JM, Miguel Albuquerque would tomorrow, at Praia Formosa, accompany the final installation phase of the new submarine telecommunications cable, which will connect Madeira to the Portuguese continent, in Sines, an investment of 15 , 1 million euros by the Region.

The cable laying vessel has just come into Port, which I have just photoed.
