The president of the Regional Government appointed April 7th as the goal to complete the vaccination of teachers and school staff, in order to allow the return to face-to-face classes for secondary school students to happen on the 8th.
To this end, Miguel Albuquerque recognizes that it will take a “very great effort” on the part of the professionals involved, but stressed the importance of completing the vaccination process so that it is possible to “reopen schools safely”.
The government official stressed the importance of resuming face-to-face classes at this level of education, given the existence of national exams at the end of the school year, he also stressed that it will be necessary to adopt specific rules for this return. “One of the rules is that they cannot leave school during school times” he said.
