A video by Swiss drone pilot Ellis Van Jason, made in Madeira, won the grand prize of this year’s Aerial Storytelling Contest, organized by SkyPixel, one of the most popular aerial imagery communities in the world.
The film, which lasts almost four minutes, shows the natural beauty of the island in an original way, with sweeping flights over the highest peaks and ‘chopped’ descents along the steep slopes to the sea. The video quality deserved the highest prize in the contest, worth $ 7,500. So far on YouTube, there are 874 thousand views.
