A hammerhead shark was found dead around lunchtime on Ribeira Brava beach. The animal was sighted by a local and caught the attention of the bathers who were there.
Also on Ponta do Sol beach, a turtle was seen swimming today.
According to one bather, there were many who filmed and took photographs of the marine animal.
