A major fire is currently taking place at the Jerónimo Martins warehouse, in São Martinho, on the Caminho do Poço Barral.
The flames are being fought by three corporations: Sapadores do Funchal, Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters and Câmara de Lobos Firefighters.
