The president of the Regional Government yesterday inaugurated the new section of the Via Expresso that connects São Jorge and Arco de São Jorge, in Santana.
Albuquerque walked the four kilometers of road, being accompanied by a delegation that includes the regional secretary for the Economy, the regional secretary for Equipment and Infrastructures, the regional secretary for Sea and Fisheries, and the regional secretary for Finance, in addition to of the mayor of Santana and representatives of other entities. Along the route and especially at the end, in the parish of Arco de São Jorge, many local people gather.
The President of the Regional Government assured today that the continuation of the Via Expresso to Boaventura will really be to move forward.
“Principles, in politics, are sacred”, said Miguel Albuquerque, after the inauguration of the new section of the Via Expresso, which connects São Jorge and Arco de São Jorge.
