A French tourist, about 50 years old, fell this afternoon from a height of about 5 meters, while walking the Levada das 25 Fontes pedestrian route, in Rabaçal, Calheta, and did not resist his injuries and ended up dying.
The Mountain Rescue Team of the Calheta Volunteer Firefighters was involved in the rescue, supported by four vehicles.
