Beach Cleaning at Seixal

The Freguesia of Seixal have carried out a beach clean with a cart they made themselves.

The machine sieves the sand and collects all the bits of rubbish.

Seixal was voted one of the best beaches in Europe and they want to jeep the beach clean, and remind visitors to take all rubbish away with them.

Well I was their and it was a very unpleasant day first it was over crowed and when I did find a place a tourist couple decide give food to the lizards a invasion of them and after not been satisfied with that they decide give food to the pigeons another invasion of them and it was complete impossible be laying in the beach in the end I did go out of the beach . Advice to the tourists don’t give any type of food to the lizards or to the pigeons when you are in the beach it is very unpleasant to the others and beside of that you are drooping rubbish in the beach and it is illegal .

      Do you remember ever going somewhere where a tourist didn’t ruin your experience? I often see you posting and am curious where the best place to go so I won’t encounter those dreaded tourists. Unfortunately it seems that it’s a constant negative for you.

    . And I have been in many holidays without any problems and I always try to respect their culture and costumes from other countries . Then try to laying in the beach with lizards and pigeons surrounding your head and face and body not very nice experience to no one .When you go to the beach do you feed the local animals in the beach ? And leave rubbish behind ? I don’t even when hiking where I live I collect the rubbish that people leave behind .

  4. I don’t leave anything behind, nor do I feed the wildlife. In fact, I don’t often see that happening too often. I guess you’re just hyper focused on infractions that whereas I only notice the obvious and flagrant ones.

  5. Infractions ? I was their and I was put in that situation like other people that left because of the situation wasn’t very nice to no one . Very unpleasant to anyone .

    1. In fact this is a post about beach cleaning and not about tourists misbehaviour. So please comment on the subject. I think it is fantastic that they cleaned the beach. I will go there in the next days to enjoy this place.

    I take my hat to the people that clean the beach and the great work they do . But if people did use the bins and bags that exist their was a great help to keep clean . As far you tell me off I have the right to warn people that can happen to any one that goes their and doesn’t mean that will be happening all the time.
