Machico Civil Protection informs that the Porto da Cruz promenade is closed, for security reasons, due to strong sea waves.
The swimming pools at Porto da Cruz are also closed.
“We appeal to the population to respect the restrictions on access and stay on the seafront, avoiding situations that put their safety at risk”, he says in a post on social media.
