Minimum temperatures above 20ºC – Funchal/Lido (20.5ºC), Ponta do Sol/Lugar de Baixo (20.5ºC) and Porto Moniz (20.1ºC) – in addition to being tropical, caused the rain to return last night, especially to the mountainous regions and south coast of the island of Madeira.
With a particular impact on the upper area of Funchal, where extreme precipitation for a period of 1 hour reached a yellow warning value in Monte (12.8 mm/1h) and Pico Alto (11.4 mm/1h).
