  According to the other article, it’s two spaces of 600 and 200 seats, so it’s not that huge.
  
  The Centro de Congressos usually sells out for the big musical events (New Year and Anniversary concerts), though whether there’s a sufficient audience throughout the year is another matter. Sadly, it’s always easier to find money to build something than it is to maintain it: the auditorium at the Centro de Congressos is starting to look rather tatty and it might have been rather more pragmatic simply to refurbish it.
