The Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (SESARAM) today again recorded constraints in the IT system.
The failure affected communications, starting at 11 am this Wednesday, January 3rd, making it impossible for the Emergency Department at Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital to make transport requests for patients discharged from hospital, for example. A situation that will also have affected health centers in the Region.
DIÁRIO knows that, at Hospital dos Marmeleiros, due to these constraints, the process of registering visits at the entrance was being done manually, with information being transmitted to the relatives of hospitalized users that they were “without a system”.
Contacted by our morning newspaper, SESARAM admits that there were IT “constraints”, roughly between 11 am and 12:30 pm, which caused the system to slow down and, consequently, the communication problems previously described.
The Regional Health Service guarantees, however, that the problem “has already been resolved” and “normality has been restored”, although it continues to monitor the situation.
