So I think we all agree that the fireworks this year were spectacular, probably one of the best years yet.
So why were they so special.?
Below are a few videos I took of the fireworks.
First 2 of the 20 min display before the Fireworks, then the 3rd is the start of the fireworks and the 4th the end of the display.
After seeing the 20min display on RTP Madeira, with the floating dolphins, or whatever they were, I’m really not sure what that was all about, and don’t think needed. Plus you could only really see this if you were downtown and looking straight on.
The countdown was great, I think if this had been much bigger and in cube form, so more of the island could see this then it would be perfect.
The fireworks were full of colour, smoke still an issue, but as I was down in town this year and watching on TV, I could see the smoke is more an issue when higher up and looking down on the display, and from the drone shots also.
Being down by the ocean it was great seeing all the pleasure boats going out and coming back in., and some nice views of the cruise ships.
