A young man was outraged this evening, in Praça do Carmo, after discovering that a homeless citizen had violently beaten an elderly man.
Eyewitnesses told the newspaper that it all started when the elderly man refused to help the homeless man financially. Not satisfied, he turned to violence, with repeated attacks that left the victim unconscious, and he was later taken to the hospital.
Faced with this scenario, the young man also approached the homeless man and gave him the same treatment.
Police were called to the scene and identified the homeless man and the young man.
