A 36-year-old man was stabbed at around 2:30 am when he was near the outskirts of the parish of São Brás, in the parish of Campanário, unable to survive the knife blows he suffered.
For now, there is little information available, however it is known that a pre-hospital emergency team from the Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol Volunteer Firefighters was mobilized to the site, supported by two ambulances, and also the EMIR team to help this individual who was later transported to Funchal Central Hospital.
The PSP will already have the perpetrator of the homicide identified, however, as it constitutes a crime of homicide, the PJ must be called to take charge of the case.
