If you miss tonight’s parade you can see in Câmara de Lobos on Monday night, a huge night followed by DJ.
If Carnival is synonymous with dreams, malassadas, disguises, streamers and confetti, it is also a sign of allegorical processions. Today, at 8 pm, 13 troupes and a total of 1,600 participants will parade and samba through the streets of Funchal.
The traditional Saturday night parade, which this year has as its theme ‘Magical Nights on the Avenues’, will start on Avenida Francisco Sá Carneiro, followed by Rotunda Sá Carneiro, Avenida do Mar and Comunidades Madeirans (south lane) until Autonomy Square.
